I am in the process of building a house. I would like polished coloured concrete floors but no idea of price?
I love your idea, here are some links to look at.The first has a zip code search for contractors.Staining is the most viable option for a great floor as Integral color tends to fade and makes any match repair an almost impossibility.
I for one would love to see your floors on completion.Depending on designs it can be a spendy project.

its not expensive to add color to it . but to polish it well that will get you . myself i prefer the acid look . after the concrete is hard spray acid on it let sit over night then spray with ammonia and let sit overnight then use a wet vac and water clean the floor well . then buff the hell out of it . and wen you got a good sheen to it seal it then wax it . it is a much better look
PS prob with color floor . during the construction if anything gets on it it will ruin the color . PS make sure that during the construction that the floor is always covered with sawdust . buy some if need be . but keep it covered and any area that gets wet have it removed and fresh dust put down . and before the walls are put in make sure that there is insulfoam put under the floor plate . reason why is . water . the inside walls are not treated . so any water that gets under will rot the wood . and as for the buffer you can save allot of time if you buy a buffer for a car and just add a handle to it . and it will come in handy later . good luck and congrats on your new home . 2.5 bath?
WOW! you better listen to boy boy he so smert . yuk yuk yuk .

are you mad ..where did you get this idea from ?..are you in the trade ..don’t go there you cant be in the trade or you would know it was a big big mistake ..it would be so cold ..you don’t put underfloor heating into concrete ..only the screed ..it will constantly create dust and is extremely difficult to lay perfectly flat or there will be big gaps under skirting’s ..and you wont live there forever ..and one day you will sell ..will you find someone else who will like it?…dream on
